Brake and Alignment Specialist
This specialist will be responsible for performing wheel alignments, brake replacements, suspension part replacements, and perform preventive maintenance work as assigned with tire center standards. You must be able to perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with tire center standards. Candidate must be able to diagnose cause of any malfunctions and perform repair in required amount of time.
Candidate must also be able to order correct parts from approved parts vendors. You will assist all sales people of additional work that is needed on customer's car or if repair cannot be completed within time promised. You will be required to road test vehicle after work is completed to ensure quality repair.
You must promptly attend all technician training classes as in accordance with the manager's request. Keep the shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for tire center's tools at all times. Be a team player, and wear eye and back protection when appropriate.
Mickelson Tire places heavy emphasis on brake work and suspension part replacement. We offer wheel alignments, ignition service, fuel system service, facility maintenance, and more. You will must be able to replace all components that are worn or defective and you must be able to bend, stand, and crouch for extended periods of time. This candidate must own a complete set of mechanic's tools and have 3 to 4 years of hands-on automotive experience.
Requirements: Must have technical aptitude displayed by ASE certification in brakes, suspension, engine tune-up, fuel injection, or auto dealer certifications, plus high school diploma or equivalent, and have the ability to read and comprehend instructions. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. Good attendance is a must. We do background checks.
