This position requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on automotive repairs and maintenance, plus you must own a full set of tools including metric that are required to perform automotive repairs and maintenance as assigned with tire center standards.

ASE Certifications in the automotive field ill provide the credentials required to be called a master technician. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, self-motivated individual who is eager to continue to learn the tasks and competencies required to work on today's complex vehicles. The primary job function will include, but will not be limited to, tire and wheel service, general automotive repair and maintenance, steering, suspension, wheel alignment, brakes, ignition, fuel system service, computer emission control, air condition service, and facility maintenance.

You must be able to work on your own and do the repairs as required. This candidate must also be able to road test vehicles and have a valid driver's license and a good driving record to assure our customer that we have completed the job right the first time. Must have experience in installation, balancing, and repair of tires.

You will be required to attend any technician's training class that would increase your learning skill as needed. You would be expected to keep the shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for the tire center's tools at all times. This candidate must be a team player, and wear eye and back protection when appropriate.

We have new Hunter 811 alignment equipment to make fast/easy operations. For this candidate, we are willing to train to do the job. You also must be able to stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time. Leads lower level technicians and helpers.
