Tire Changer/Oil Technician
IMMEDIATE OPENING
Must have a valid driver's license and willing to work and learn the job expected. You will receive hands-on training. Your work load will include oil changes, light mechanical repair, tire service, installing truck tires, wheel balancing, tire repairs, transmission flushes, etc. Other mechanical work will be based on ability. Assistant Manager

We are looking for ONE hard working individual to assist in the overall operation of a fast paced tire and automotive servicing/truck accessories retail store. If you are a people person, sales motivated, coachable, self motivated, problem solver, energetic, and have the drive to make the difference, and have the desire to be successful, you might be the one we want hire.
You must possess excellent communication and excellent computer skills, excellent work habits, be of high moral character, and bring with you a proven track record of success in sales and marketing of our tire industry and auto repair.

You will be required to follow our technicians and tire service progress and monitor all work loads, and keep on time with the work scheduled.
You must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. You also must be proficienton a computer for invoicing purposes and be able to identify the vehicle's problem by questioning the customer about the vehicle's performance, from visual inspection, or by aroad trip test. You also must be able to make repair orders for the technicians so they can perform all repairs. You will be required to fill out an itemized list of costs, parts, and labor and arrange for the work to be done and get approval from customers to start the repairs. You will also offer and sell tires, truck accessories, toppers, trailer hitches, custom wheels, snow plows, and much more.
We require you to complete the online certifications of tire knowledge, product knowledge, and other certifications requirements. Mickelson Tire will send you to different schools for product knowledge, sales training, and more. ASE certification is a plus and prior automotive repair is very helpful. We use ALLDATA for our estimator.

Hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Full-Time Brake and Alignment Specialist
IMMEDIATE OPENING

This position will be 40-44 hours per week plus a great production bonus.
This individual must have 3 ASE certified credentials in brakes, suspension, and air condition and own a complete set of tools for the work load requirements and have a minimum of 1-2 years in related fields of experience. This position and pay is very similar to the master technician. You must be willing to work toward a certification to become a senior technician.
We offer a very competitive pay scale. This individual also must have a clean and valid driver's license. You also must live within 25 miles of Storm Lake, Iowa to be considered for this position or be willing to move. We offer online ACDelco training at home at your pace.

Director of New Dealer Development
You will be required to become a certified tire sales professional from our product training. You also will be required to travel and make cold calls to new dealers, trucking firms, and wholesale accounts, and promote all of our tire brands and Tuner custom wheels and truck accessories that we offer in a professional, ethical, and knowledgeable manner.
Applicant must have basic computer skills and be able to help other dealers promote our products and have the ability to sell valuable products. Applicant will play a vital role in forecasting sales and market penetration. Applicant must attend and participate in meetings and training programs. Maintain frequent correspondence with owner and staff of progress and need information basis.
